And then the knitting for me

In 2012 I only knit a few things for myself. Nothing big, just a few pairs of wristwarmers, a hat and a pair of socks. In 2013 I was going to change that. I was going to only knit for myself. Then people started telling me they were pregnant and I realized that I had to change my original plan to only knit for myself. Instead I settled for twelve bigger projects that I was going to make for me, one for each month (but not necessarily knit during that month). It resultet in 12 bigger projects and one small one.

Amount of projects finished for me: 13
Most used needle size: 4mm and 3,5 mm with four projects each.
Biggest needles used: 6 mm
Smallest needles used: 2,25 mm
Most common garment: Shawl! I’ve knit myself ten shawls and scarfs last year.
Most used yarn weight: Fingering weight.
Most used hair style while taking pictures of knits for myself: Bun used four times, French braid used four times. 40’s hair style used one time.
Most used pose while taking pictures of knits for myself: with the back to the camera. Looking towards right four times and towards left four times. One pose with front towards camera.

KOfta_4_medium2

Vitamin D by Heidi Kirrmaier. Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Fino. Color Bramble. Those last rows just too forever and even though I really tried to make the sleeves long enough they are still a bit too short. I love that cardigan though.

Rosa_tr2_medium2

Rosa dröm by Yllotyll. Yarn: Yllotyll Lin. Color 47 Ljusrosa. This sweater taught me that I do not like knitting in linen yarn. I do not. I need to repeat this every time I get seduced by a nice color in a linen yarn.
