Spring cleaning

For a little while now there has been yarn everywhere in my apartment and even though I like to have my woolies close to me where ever I am, it’s a little hard to overlook when you need somehing. Today though I did something about it and put all my newest purchases into a plastic box with little wheels. All the skeins are neatly put to order and together with other yarn of the same type. It will still be hard to find what I’m looking for sometimes if I don’t know which box I put it in, but at least the skeins are not in different bags all over the apartment. The box is now placed under my bed together with two other yarn boxes. Now, if when I buy more yarn the space under the bed is full so unless I start using my stash yarn I would have to move. (In my next apartment I’m going to have a much bigger space assigned for my stash. Much bigger. It’s still okay to use stash yarn though.)

While I was at it I also put all my pattern sheets into plastic pockets and placed them all in a binder. I’ve had a pattern binder for a while but didn’t think of the plastic pockets before. Now it’s much easier to put keep the patterns in order, granted that I actually put them there when I’m done. Also, I need another binder, this one is full.
